Forces hits so hard. I watched this anime with my friend this week. Thank you Susumu Hirasawa for your amazing music and thank you Kentaro Miura for such a captivating story, which is great whether as manga or as animation.

Плачу мне было 2 года в 2007 я первый раз посмотрел в ночное время по MTV, я не понимал, но это было красиво я забыл и я просто нашёл это пересмотрев Золотой Век я осознал это лучшее что было в жизни нельзя забывать эту историю и этот чудесный саундтрек который вписывается в атмосферу и имеет глубочайший смысл вставок этих мелодий атмосфера 90ых электронной музыки, просто нечто а треки тема Гатса и Земли просто чудесны я считаю это шедевр на века.

No piece of media has ever (and probably never will) have the same level of impact on me that Berserk did. I watched the last ~four episodes of Berserk in the middle of the night in the dark by myself, and it was one of the most surreal experiences of my life. I can't even describe how it left me feeling. I watched through the entire credits when it was over and then just stared at the black screen for a moment before I turned my laptop off and went to bed. I laid awake for something like an hour, just absolutely shell-shocked. This series changed something in me; I haven't been quite the same since. I don't know if that's good or bad, but either way, I don't regret it.

The song Gutts is so sad. One of the only songs that truly effects me deeply.

I discovered Beserk so late... But I was happy that I did until I've heard the news of Miura and that made me very sad... I can't stop listening to Guts song, it's something very special, something that I can't describe in words. I wish I had time to read the manga. Maybe one day I can.

One of the best ST that does remind me only of two things; Berserk and Dark Souls 1

I thought this anime would be some generic medieval garbage with no take away once it's over... I was so wrong. Behind its old and slow appearances hides a soul no other edition of Berserk managed to provide. It's kind of a shame that this series never got finished in the style of the 1997 edition, the single blame i can give to it is some scenes being too slow, aside from that everything was excellent... and of course the soundtrack too which surprised me several times.

No piece of media ive experienced has moved me like the 1997 Berserk. The music, the atmosphere, the emotions are a masterpiece. The manga is simply incredible, this music though is perfect. Thank you Mr Miura.

Unfortunately the old art style we love will never be because each still is hand drawn no computers involved. It’s just much easier to do everything digital nowadays and faster and probably cheaper too. I wish dragon ball super had the dbz look but that’s never gonna happen. Rip

Where is the theme that plays on a number of occasions.. E.G. when Guts and Griffith , start their first duel in episode 2 or 3. Its a melancholic chant with male voices. You know the one i mean?

Berserk deserve an anime adapatation who reach more than golden age pls

The main part of "Murder" (around 10:00 on) feels oddly reminiscent of "Rubycon" from Tangerine Dream (around the 7th, 8th minute mark). I wonder if there was some inspiration taken there. Also reminds me a bit of some of the Mass Effect 1 OST, especially "A Very Dangerous Place", maybe even "The Secret Labs", "Rift Station Combat" ("Knossos"?) and probably some others I can't recall. Melodies, sounds and rhythms. Not sure how the inspiration chain worked here, but Tangerine Dream most definitely inspired Mass Effect's OST.
